HCV Imaging, a fundamental component in HCV's telemedicine solution, is a full-featured multimedia data collection and documentation system.

It provides clinicians with the ability to collaborate and consult with distant care providers to monitor and manage patients; conditions.

Unlimited Potential

Working with HealthCare Vision's Rendezvous Image Server and Rendezviewer web browser, HCV Imaging provides unlimited potential to improve access to quality healthcare and cost control.

Typically, an HCV Imaging installation is an Internet based client-server configuration with a Rendezvous Image Server component and a Rendezviewer browser interface.

Videoconferencing is available for real-time consultation. Sample applications include community wellness programs and mobile screening initiatives, in-home patient care, employee healthcare, and school-based child health.

Record Content

HCV Imaging's patient session, an episode of care, can include rich data content:

• Free-text, SOAP, and audio notes
• Captured image, video, and audio files
• Scanned images of supporting documents such as film images, lab slips, ECG report, and handwritten notes from the clinical record
• Optional specialized documentation such as fetal sonogram reports and pediatric echocardiograms

Documentation and Consultation

HCV Imaging can be used as a stand-alone system for local documentation.

• With video conferencing features, HCV Imaging may also be used by the clinician to consult with a peer or a specialist.
• Video conferencing uses standard telephone lines or high bandwidth network connections.
