Interactive Telecare

HCV Interactive Telecare provides real-time videoconferencing between patient and clinician, physiological data collection, and real-time documentation during the videoconference. Patients may also record vital parameters, then use the videophone to send data automatically upon connection to the clinician.

• Central Windows PC station with HCV Nurse Station software and videophone
• Patient site videophone with customizable measurement configurations

Data Collection

• Assessments are done via ITU H.323 and H.324 video conferencing standards.
• Store and forward technology permits patients to take daily measurements then send data automatically upon connection to healthcare provider station. Real-time data collection is supported while connected with healthcare provider station.
• Healthcare provider station data is forwarded via secure web services to the HCV Telecare D.R. Server.
• Data measurements are available for blood pressure, temperature, SpO₂, heart rate, mean arterial pressure, weight, blood glucose, and peak flow.

Automated Telecare

Automated Telecare allows the patient to take vital measurements that are automatically sent via wireless devices to the Telecare D.R. Server.

Clinicians can review data at any time.

Data Collection

• Patient takes daily measurements.
• Data is automatically sent to the PSTN gateway which connects and transmits data via secure web services to the Telecare D.R. Server.
• Supported measurements include blood pressure, heart rate, mean arterial pressure, weight, blood glucose, and peak flow.

Economy Telecare

The patient uses commercially available devices to take vital parameters, record the data by hand on paper, and then a touch-tone phone to call in results by responding to scripted voice prompts.

Clinicians can review data at any time, any where.
