Documentation and Review Process
Authorized providers and consultant reviewers can communicate simply by using the Internet to log on to the Rendezviewer browser any time from anywhere.
Patient Contact - The patient's visit is documented in an episode of care using the HCV Imaging software, encrypted, then transmitted to the Rendezvous Image Server via the Internet
Review and Consultation - The provider is notified by e-mail or pager of the arrival of new episode data from the Rendezvous Image Server. The reviewing provider logs on to a secure Rendezviewer browser session to review the episode and add comments in the form of free-text and SOAP notes, audio notes, image-specific SOAP notes, and image annotation.
Completed Consultation Notification - Once the review is completed, the original performing provider is alerted by e-mail or pager that the consultation is available for viewing.
Components
Rendezvous Image Server is a web-based data repository that uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) authentication to ensure data integrity and privacy.
Rendezviewer is a secure web browser that permits authorized care providers to access patient data.

The Rendezvous Server meets and exceeds industry standards for data protection and encryption using 168 bit encryption on all data transfer methods.
